Delta’s 2.5MW, 1500V Grid Tied Solar Central PV Inverter, DelCEN2500 HV, will be tested for full power for
the burn-in test which is a routine test. The duration of the test is 1 hr. During the test, the temperatures of
all major critical components will be monitored and documented in the test report. All the critical and major
power components are subjected to rated currents and voltages including the DC side components like
input fuses, bus bars interconnections including the DC disconnection switch are covered in the burn in test.
The test set-up consists of back to back connected 2 nos of 3MW systems without using transformer in
between is implemented. One 3MW converter works as a DC source feeding DC power to the 3MW inverter
which is considered as unit under test (UUT). This will ensure 100% test coverage for all the components.
