Length: Follow genre conventions of whatever piece you choose to create.
Sources: Minimum of one source—even if it’s just the source you found, on which to base your
genre piece—which should be listed on a separate “References” page, or on your genre piece,
itself.

Assignment:
Create a rough draft of one of your genre pieces for your MGRP portfolio. Refer to the list of
possible genre pieces I provided (or talk to me) for ideas. Do some research into whatever genre
you are creating, to determine the accepted conventions of that particular genre. 

Purpose:
To gain a stronger understanding of genre, and genre conventions. Also, to reinforce an
understanding of purpose and audience, while keeping in mind the general unity across
subsequent genres in your MGRP.

Work must adhere to the accepted conventions of whatever genre you are creating.
