Choose Name and time of Day for Vocabulary Time

Vocabulary Teaching needs to have devoted time daily built into Name:
your routine. Think about your routine (assuming other factors like
gym remain the same as last year) and decide when your new
vocabulary time will be. Many teachers give it a name such as “Core
Builder Time” or “Word Time” When:

Wednesdays: Song

For these days you might choose an activity to

teach word meaning explicitly that you’ll do the Thursdays: Book with
same day each week for each or alternate activities Activity
from the list each week. e.g., Alternating activity.
Book, song, Word recipe
Fridays: Word Party
Friday  - Review 
Weekly activity that involves all the words of the
week and previous weeks’ words.
