Patient progress report

Assessment Zainab worked very well today, she stayed focused and was able to work through all the
activities. Great work! There is an issue of Zainab having a strong infatuation over some
toys, particularly figurines, this session it was small figurines of the three little pigs. Note:
try to avoid using these in the future if it is possible to maintain Zainab's engagement
with other items/activities.

Treatment Today Zainab played with Trick Sticks, three little pigs figurines, a shaking light ball in a
box, colouring pages, stretchy toys and stress balls.

Trick Sticks and colouring pages (Frozen themed)

Zainab was able to say "colour + please" phrases following a verbal model from SP (e.g.
"red please", "blue please"). Great work!

Shaking light ball (turned on and put in a clear box with a lid for Zainab to view)
Zainab initially was tentative about this activity, having her hands over ears but after her
parents removed her hands from her ears one time, she really enjoyed the ball shaking in
the box. We practiced saying "go"to turn on the ball - Zainab is able to say this after a
verbal model from SP.

Stretchy toys/stress balls

Practiced saying "ball please" to receive one of these toys. This is also one of the toys
which has proven to be difficult to retrieve back from Zainab alongside the three little
pigs figurines.
