Physics or “knowledge of nature”, according to Wikipedia, is the natural science (branch

of science concerned with the description, prediction, and understanding of natural phenomena,
based on empirical evidence from observation and experimentation) that studies matter (any
substance that has mass and takes up space by having volume), its motion (phenomenon in
which an object changes its position overtime) and behavior through space and time (any
mathematical model which fuses the three dimensions of space and the one dimension of time
into a single four-dimensional manifold), and related entities of energy and force. It is one of the
most fundamental scientific disciplines, and its main goal is to understand how the universe (all
of space and time and their contents, including planets, stars, galaxies, and all other forms of
matter and energy) behaves.

Physics generates fundamental knowledge needed for the future technological advances

that will continue to drive the engines of the world. It contributes to
the technological infrastructure (foundational technology  services, software, equipment,
facilities and structures) and provides trained personnel needed to take advantage of scientific
advances and discoveries. Technology’s availability enables us to manage our daily lives and the
sharing of valuable information with our friends, families and other. It is an essential tool that we
cannot avoid, it plays an important part in the majority of our lives. Technology essentially
harnesses the tools, technologies and strategies used to help us solve problems and simply make
our lives better and easier to live in some way.

Physics also helped us develop medical technologies like scanners, x-rays, radiation

therapy for cancer treatment, and ventilators for patients whose lungs can't breathe for them.
Ventilators use the physics principles of pressure and fluid flow to artificially work your lungs.

Physics is a beautiful intellectual exercise, the epitome of rationalism bringing together

observation, experiment, deductive and inductive logic in a way seldom matched in other
endeavors.

Though we didn’t notice, Physics takes part to our everyday tasks and assists us to do our
errands, chores and duties smoothly and effectively. It gives access to the society to furtherly
explore and discover for us to have a better and efficient life.
