This document contains a blessing prayer for an Advent wreath. The priest leads prayers asking that keeping Advent may open hearts to God's love, the light of Christ may penetrate darkness, the wreath may remind people to prepare for Christ's coming, and the Christmas season may fill people with peace and joy. The concluding prayer asks God to pour blessings on those lighting the wreath candles so their light reflects Christ, who is Lord forever.
