First Grade Students Will Visit Animals at the Erie Zoo

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our first graders have the opportunity to go on a field study to the Erie Zoo on Friday, April 6.

At the zoo, students will attend a special educational program hosted by Erie Zoo that

encourages environmental awareness and promotes students to connect with nature.

The school will depart on a school bus at 8:05 AM and return to the school at 2:20 PM. With us,

will be both first grade teachers, the school nurse, and three teacher aides. Each child’s health

information form will be taken along on the trip for reference.

Please pack a brown paper bag sack lunch with no glass containers. Students are not required

to bring souvenir money- as we are not visiting the gift shop.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Elementary School Office at 724-253-

1223 and leave a message so we can call you back as soon as possible.

We are going to have a ZOO-TASTIC time!
