Kahoot!
Description: Kahoot! Is a tool that provides multiple
choice questions to students. It is set up for students
to play in teams or individually. Each question is
displayed on the board from 5 seconds to 2 minutes
with 4 multiple choice options. Students are given
points based off their promptness and correctness.

Educational Implications: Kahoot! Is great for


collaboration in the classroom. Students are able to
put their knowledge together to select the correct
answer while competing for the top amount of points.
Virtual Field Trip
Description: This is an awesome tool to explore parts
of the world that are far away or inaccessible due to
COVID 19. It is a free site on google, and very safe for
student access. Students are able to gain a real life
360 degree view of many famous places across the
world.

-Can be used during history lessons Ex: gettysburg

-Used during geography lessons, Ex: Sydney Opera

Plickers Description:

1. Each student is given a card with a unique visual


code.
2. The code has four sides, each lettered A,B,C, and D.
3. The student hold the card so that the letter they
choose to answer the question with is at the top.
4. The teacher will then scan the room using their
phones camera to record the students answers.
5. In the plickers app the answers are compiled for the
teacher review.

Educational Implements:

1. Plickers is a unique quizzing format that uses an


individualized shape to answer questions.
2. The students can individually answer the question
while still in a group setting.
Animoto
Animoto allows you to make online video
presentations which include video clips,
photos and sounds.

This can be used by students to make an


engaging presentation and share it with the
class with a link. It can also be used for a
teacher to make presentations to share for
both online and in person instruction. It allows
the students to work on their own pace
without being teacher led.

Hypothesis What is Hypothesis:
● Hypothesis is a web browser
extension that allows for students to
join a class or group and then
annotate any online article or page.
Using the extension lets anyone in
your group see your thoughts and
then reply to what you said.
Why use it:
● Hypothesis allows for collaboration
and peer learning. It can be used
when you assign students to do
online research, an online reading, or
when you send students a PPT to
take notes on. It gives students an
opportunity to learn a new
perspective as well.
BrainPop
>BrainPop has over 1000 short
animated movies for students
k-12, an educational game section
called “GameUp,” quizzes, and
related materials to a various
number of subjects.

>BrainPop can be used in a variety


of ways to enhance student
learning. Its videos can help teach,
its games can help students
practice, and its quizzes can help
assess.
Class Tag Description:
Class Tag is a free teacher-parent communication
app.

Educational Implications:
This communication app allows teachers to send
messages, announcements, videos, pictures,
arrange parent-teacher conferences, and engage
with families.
Quizlet Live!
- Quizlet Live! Is a high-energy,
competitive and collaborative
effort review game. Students
are randomly put into groups
of 2-4 and have to work
together to answer all 12
questions in a row to win!
- This game would be great to
start the day/lesson and get
the students energized and
engaged.
Stikbot Animation
Description: The StikBot animation app
allows students to create and share
stop motion animation videos with
others.

Educational Implications:
Stikbots are appealing to students,
which increases students'
engagement. They encourage creative
thinking, self-expression, and
independent learning.
Padlet Description: Padlet is a creative website that
allows you to design a document using a
variety of templates. The best part of Padlet is
you are able to have others invited into your
padlet and they can add and edit the whole
thing!

Educational Implications: You can use this


form of technology a ton. You can have kids
respond to an open discussion question and
talk about all the answers, you can have
students make informative pages about a
research topic and have them share with the
class.
AutoDraw Description: AutoDraw is an online white-board
that makes drawing fast. AutoDraw can detect
what you want and finish your drawing to make
it better and faster.

Educational Implications: Having this put on


your smartboard can be a game changer. This
website turns your smartboard into another
whiteboard with faster drawing and writing.
Google Docs
Description- Google Docs is a real-time collaboration
and document authoring tool. Multiple users can edit a
document at the same time, while seeing each others'
changes instantaneously. Users can produce text
documents, slide presentations, spreadsheets, drawings,
and surveys.

Usage- Can be used to have students collaborate on the


same document to get different points of view on similar
topics or to help students learn how to peer review in a
meaningful and thought provoking way.
Nearpod
Description: Nearpod is a presentation tool that
includes quizzes, polls, videos, drawing-boards, etc. It
allows for interactive instruction through live
participation, student-paced, and in the front of class.
You can also convert Powerpoints, Google Slides,
PDFs, YouTube videos, and video files into Nearpod!

Educational Implications: Nearpod can be used to


create lessons that include Virtual Reality, simulations,
and videos to engage students in the learning.
Throughout the lesson, you can include polls, quizzes,
or open-ended questions to check for understanding
and get insight on their learning during the lesson. If a
student makes a presentation, you can review their
work and give them feedback.
Kami Description: Kami is a learning digital classroom app
built to transform any existing document into an
interactive learning experience. Kami helps improve
engagement and collaboration while teaching in the
classroom, or online.

Educational Implication: Learning online with


collaboration and annotation app. Kami can be used in
the classroom and/or at home. Scan worksheet and
watch students work while at home

Description: SlidesGo is a website that allows you to
add presentation themes to your Google Slides to
