You can use this program to create your lessons ahead of time and have a recording to display on the white board
for for missing students who were absent or online only. Screen recording can be used to explain to parents how
to access material fro their children(how to access canvas). Screen recording can also help when trying to show

2. Software: Emojipedia

3. Intended Use: Emojipedia is the world's #1 emoji reference site providing up to date and well researched
information you can trust.

Emoji names displayed on Emojipedia are official emoji names sourced from the Unicode Standard. Emoji images
belong to their respective creators, and we display and archive these for the purpose of commentary and
explanation.

4. Fee structure: Free

5. I think this would fit into the K-12 curriculum, in a number of ways. One way would be for a teacher to set up their
class roster with individual emojis next to their students names. Kindergarten and 1st graders could create their own
"learn to read" books. The 😸 says 'MEOW". 2nd and 3rd graders could insert emojis into a research paper about
emojis and their origins, and use the Emojipedia website as a reference since it gives details on what the emoji
means, and its different looks across different platforms; Google, Apple, etc. Finally, 4th and 5th graders could
create a comic book using various emojis.

2. Software: PdfEscape

3. Intended Use: A new way to open and edit PDF files online, PDFescape frees users from the typical software requirements for using the de
facto document file format. Completely online, PDFescape requires no more than a modern internet browser and an active internet
connection.

4. Fee Structure: Free Version, Free. Free Online PDF Editing, Create and Fill Forms, Share PDF Documents.

Premium Version, $2.99 per month. Desktop and Online PDF Editing, Create and Fill Forms, Share PDF Documents, Power PDF Editing
Features, Print to and Scan to PDF.

Ultimate Version, $5.99 per month. Desktop and Online PDF Editing, Create and Fill Forms, Share PDF Documents, Power PDF Editing
Features, Print to and Scan to PDF, Publish PDF Forms

5. I think this would be a useful software for students and teachers alike as it would allow them to edit and share PDFs. I don't have much
experience with PDFs but I do know that once they are made you are unable to edit them. This software allows user more options and
features within a PDF. As students are online more and more this software might make it easier for them to format and submit their work.
This software could be used in a group setting where peers edit their partners paper online as it allows for "post it note" type edits. Most of
the features that a student would need are available with the free version making it very accessible to schools.

4) Fee structure? (ex: free?, monthly?, yearly?, lifetime?, enterprise/site licenses?)

Free for teachers and the only thing the kids need is the teacher to provide them a code and then they are able to please the game.

5) Ways you can see it fitting into the K-12 curriculum? (1 paragraph. your own opinion)

I really like the 99math.com because this is a great way for students to learn the curriculum also while having fun. For example, one I created my own account under
“teacher” I was able to choose which grade I teach. This website only includes first through twelfth grade. I chose first grade and the categories of games I was able to choose from
were, addition, subtraction, number patters, fractions, time, money, and comparing and ordering. This is great because in first grade, you will be having lessons on each of these
topics and a way for students to learn in an interactive and fun way would be 99math. Teachers are able to make their own game by choosing the topics they want to teach to their
students. While students are learning this topic in class, they can play games when the teacher is working in small groups and strengthen their math skills.

4) Fee structure? (ex: free?, monthly?, yearly?, lifetime?, enterprise/site licenses?)

Currently, there is a Free 30 day trial for teachers to try out before they buy. If you are a teacher who wants to buy it for classroom use only, it cost $10.00 a month.
However, if Admin wants to buy for the entire school, Flocabulary wants to be contacted to discuss a price. That also goes for the entire school district; you would have to
request a consultation.

5) Ways you can see it fitting into the K-12 curriculum? (1 paragraph. your own opinion)

At first glance, Flocabulary seems like it would only help reading and writing subjects however, there are multiple categories for lessons. There is Language Arts,
Math, Science, Social Studies, Life Skills, Vocabulary, and Current Events. There are videos and quizzes available for the students. A great way to incorporate Flocabulary
in a K-12 curriculum would be to provide lecture and videos for students to learn the information and then they are able to practice their skills by taking a test of
Flocabulary. This would be a great way to steer away from pen and paper and integrate more technology in the classroom.

*There is an educator/student version. (Which I am actually trying to get for our EDU 201 final. It allows for video
recording up to 45 minutes. I applied for it on Thursday of last week and am still waiting for it to be approved).

5. I think this application is excellent for students and teachers. It is a very user friendly application. Teachers at
my kids school used it last year to record videos that were sent home to the students. And students can use it to
share their work with their classmates and teachers. The only restriction is that the videos must be less than 5
minutes. But with an educator/student account they can be lengthened.

2. Software: Epic

3. Intended Use: Epic has grown into an award-winning subscription service, which gives millions of families and classrooms
instant, unlimited access to thousands of books, videos and quizzes from leading publishers to help kids everywhere read,
learn and grow.

4. Fee Structure:

BASIC, Access to 1 book a day. Free, Limited Library.

UNLIMITED, 40k+ books, audiobooks & videos. $6.67 per month (billed annually) or $9.99 per month.

*Free for educators.

5. This seems like a grade program as it allows students to access books that they might not otherwise be able to read. I
know that my own kids' school uses this program and my 1st grader is able to access it on her own. I am not sure how it
differs from other reading sites, such as myON. As it is free for educators it is very accessible and I believe it is beneficial to
all young readers. With access to more books students will be better able to find reading material that interests them and
should be more successful when they use other software such as the AR quizzes. It is also much easier than visiting a brick
and mortar library for many students that might not have access to physical books.

2. Blooket

3.Intended use: Welcome to the World of Blooket: a new take on trivia and review games!

The way it works is that a teacher/host picks a question set and a unique game mode. Then, we generate a code that
players can use to join the game on their own devices. After the game starts, players will answer questions to help them
win. That’s where the fun starts, because we offer a variety of games to keep students engaged and excited!

4. fee: starter free

plus $2.99 monthly

plus flex $4.99 monthly

5. ways in can fit into k-12 curriculum:

This program is fun if you want the whole class to be active in quiz or test style activity. It reminds me a lot of kahoot, but
in a more colorful way so it does feel like its aimed for the younger students. This type of game or activity, which involves
the whole class to participate is a fun way for teachers to review material with the students and get an idea of what
information they have retained.

2) Book Creator

3) It's published intended use?

Book Creator - bring creativity to your classroom. A simple way to make digital books online - on Chromebooks, PCs,
iPads or tablets. Create. Read. Publish.

Free- single Library allows storage for up to 40 books

$10 monthly per teacher includes a 1000 book storage, with unlimited libraries, and support of multiple teachers

They also have a district wide pricing that includes a 1000 book plan for every teacher, but pricing is quoted upon calling.

5) Ways you can see it fitting into the K-12 curriculum?

Book Creator allows for students to make their own writings into digital books, cover to cover. It would be a great way for
younger students to turn their creative writings into books for their classmates to read in their own digital library storage.
Teachers could assign a variety of subjects or prompts where students not only have to write, but also design a cover for
their writings.

a curriculum.

reading that can be purchased individually or in activity packs. If students really enjoy the books,
why not make a learning resource about something they already enjoy engaging in?

5. Text Giraffe is a website dedicated to logos. There are types of designs, fonts, ideas, covers for
a Facebook page, and information about other websites that you can create even more logos.
This would be a great website for a teacher to make a Lauchpad with. The different logos would
be an interesting way to catch students attention. It also would make a great way to create bulletin
boards for the classroom. Students could design their own webpage, or a classroom webpage,
choosing or creating different logos to represent themselves.
