The teacher will review the past lesson about articles.
Activity
The teacher will divide the class into three (3) groups.
The group leader will randomly select what would be the “part of speech”
they will perform in the class. Specifically (Noun, Verbs, and Preposition.
Group leader will choose the following either jingle, poem, or song.
Analysis
The teacher will ask the students what is the Meaning of the following:
Nouns, Verbs, and Preposition.
And what is the connection of the following to the new topic to be
discussed.
Abstraction
The teacher will discuss the following:
1. What is Gerund
2. What is the focus of Gerund in the sentence
3. How to use Gerunds after the BE verbs.
4. How to use Gerunds that follow the specifics verbs.
5. How to use Gerund after a preposition.
Application
Rearrange the scrambled words in the sentence.
Identify the correct placement of gerund words/ gerund phrase.
1st group who can get the answers will have 50 points
2nd 30pts
3rd 25pts.
IV. EVALUATION:
Use the words in the box to complete the sentences
Change the verb words and make into a Gerund form.

Make Five (5) sentences of the following.
1. Gerunds after the BE verbs.
2. Gerunds that follow the specifics verbs.
3. Gerund after a preposition.
