What is Quizziz?

• Is a creativity software company used in a class, group


works, pretest review, exam, unit test, and impromptu
tests. It allows student and teacher to be online at the
same time.

• It uses a quiz-style teaching and learning method where


a user answer questions in a series independently, and
contents with other user on the same quiz.

• It is a free tool. It works on any device: web browser,


iOS, Android and Chrome apps. You can access
hundreds of ready-made learning quizzes or create your
own.

• Educational Technology can also be viewed as a Gamification Technique, it is using


the way of creating games into learning and teaching areas, so Kahoot, Socrative,
iClicker and Quizzizz both of them are examples of gamification technique.

What is Google Form?

Google Forms is a free online tool from Google which allows


users to create forms, surveys, and quizzes as well as to
collaboratively edit and share the forms with other people. Educators
can use Google forms to assess their students at the beginning of the
class and gauge pre-existing knowledge. Furthermore, Google forms
can be used to give feedback to and receive feedback from students
and parents. Similarly, students can use Google forms to assess their
own learning and set the learning goals as well as to collect data for
their research projects

Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform, used as educational technology in


schools and other educational institutions. Its learning games, "kahoots", are user-
generated multiple-choice quizzes that can be accessed via a web browser or the
Kahoot app.

What is Google Classroom?

• Google Classroom is a learning management system (LMS) that aims to simplify creating,
distributing, and grading assignments and engaging students in learning online or remotely.
Google Classroom is a free application designed to help students and teachers
communicate, collaborate, organize and manage assignments, go paperless, and much more!
It was introduced as a feature of Google Apps for Education following its public release on
August 12, 2014.
• Google Classroom is a product in G Suite for Education, a free suite of Google tools and
services for schools and homeschools. Google recommends educational institutions sign up
for G Suite for Education if they intend to use Classroom, but it’s not required. School IT
administrators supervise the suite by supplying school accounts and managing user
permissions. Administrators can also place restrictions on how outside applications can
access the data of teachers and students within their domain.

Socrative is a cloud-based student response system


developed in 2010 by Boston-based graduate school students.

computers or their own smartphones.

Socrative is a good tool for making learning easier and effective. In fact it
allows the teacher to not only built his or her own quizzes, but also to import
quizzes from the store. This tool is good as it gives the opportunity to
students to see the live progress of their results.

What is Jamboard?

• It is an interactive whiteboard for distance learning.


• Jamboard is a digital interactive whiteboard developed by
Google to work with Google Workspace, formerly known as
G Suite. It was officially announced on 25 October 2016. It
has a 55" 4K touchscreen display and can be used for online
collaboration using Google Workspace.
