Visual Inspection   CH
1 Ensure hose inspected outside or at the area with enough lighting for inspection.    
2 Inspect hose outer surface (cover) for damage (cuts deeper than 1/8 inch or 3.5mm).    
3 Inspect for stiffness or hardnes of hose (hose will not bend when lifted).    
4 Inspect for any changes in color.    
5 Verify no liquid or waste inside the hose.    
6 Inspect ourter surface (cover) for blisters.    
7 Inspect for kinked or flattened hose (visible kinks or flattened more than 25% of full diameter).    
8 Inspect hose for leakage (visible signs of leakage).    
9 Inspect hose for damage to connections/fittings (corrosion, deep scarring, etc.).    
10 Verify model, tag number, pressure specs. and size labled on hose.    

11 Clean male/female ends with metal brush.    

12 Ensure fluid hose connections capped    
13 Verify Hose is clean and ready for next operation.    
Rigorous Documentation   CH
13 Validate that hose has been stored according to AZO-LMP-WM-012 Hose Management Work Method    
14 Verify Visual Inspection was completed. (Items 1-13 above add notes for each section below).    
15 Validate that hose initial pressure test certification is on file.    
16 Attach photo documentation to this file: Include 3 photos. One for each connection and one for the hose.    
17 If Passed validate hose returned to storage. If Failed validate hose is tagged and    
removed from service. NOTE ACTION HERE:
