1. Check validity of last “Major Inspection Certificate
2. No heating, welding, cutting and grit blasting is allowed on any part of this equipment.
3. 3rd party is required for NDT, US and pressure testing.
4. PTW is required for pressure tests in the field.
5. Scour marks must be polished

6 Perform low/high pressure test to full working
pressure.

Function Test of HCR-Valves
Note :
1. Function test of HCR-Valve to be performed in “non installed” mode using rig test pump
2. Ensure all temporary installed test lines are in good condition and properly routed.
3. Ensure PTW is in place prior to start function Test
1 Close valve with hand wheel and ensure that
valve is moving freely.
2 Open valve with hand wheel and ensure that
valve is moving freely
3 Inspect the valve bore to unsure that the gate
bore is properly aligned.
4 Connected hose to closing port and close gate
and apply 150psi. check tell tale
5 Connected hose to opening port and open gate
and apply 150psi. check tell tale
6 Repeat step 4 & 5 applying 1500psi./ 5 min
