Introduction

Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born on February 20 in 1988. She is a Barbadian musician who does

rhythm and music, also known as (R& B). Rihanna became famous in the world at the beginning

of the 21st century due to her unique and versatile voice without forgetting the fashionable looks.

Ideally, Rihanna has grown up in music, and history has it that in high school, she won a talent

show with a song called Mariah Carey. Being a great celebrity in the world like Rihanna comes

with many responsibilities as a celebrity tries to fulfill his or her duties and those of the fans.

Consequently, this is why a celebrity like Rihanna has come out clearly and said that she has a

sleeping disorder; in other words, insomnia. Rihanna says sometimes she even doesn't go to bed,

and if she does, she sleeps for about four hours.

Ways of treating Insomnia

One of the therapeutic approaches to treating insomnia is having a closer look at the

sleeplessness causes and initiating proper sleeping behaviors. In Rihanna's case, she says that the

causes of her sleeplessness are the tight daily schedule that she has subjected herself to. Ideally,

many things run through Rihanna's mind in a day, meaning that she works more than she sleeps.

As a therapist, some of the best approaches that can b used to help Rihanna is the use of sleep

restriction therapy. Typically, the sleeping restriction therapy's role is to regulate the time spent

in bed and the need for a person’s sleep. One of the therapeutic approaches of treating insomnia

to the body and induce sleepiness is medical treatment. Typically, other relaxation methods that

can be used to help sleep include meditation, breathing exercises, and mindfulness. Another

approach is stimulus control, which builds a relationship between the bedroom and sleep by

reducing the bedroom's activities. In this approach, a person is encouraged to have and maintain

a strict sleeping hygiene level while using the bed, specifically sleeping facilities.
In conclusion, apart from insomnia, celebrities are associated with numerous disorders. This is

because of the many activities that they engage in during the day and night. This is evident from

the case of Rihanna. The good thing is that the condition is treatable, and the best way to

approach this condition is to identify the cause of the condition and know what approach to take.

Ideally, Insomnia is common among people, and according to research, people with insomnia

ignore, and thus the disorder remains untreated. However, patients with insomnia can use

behavioral methods and techniques to help curb and reduce the disorder.
