Political Stimulation

Understanding the meaning of political stimulation

Several changes have taken place in the process of information dissemination. This has been
attributed dramatically by the fact that some learners are visually motivated while others are an
auditory student. It is imperative, therefore, that all learners be accommodated to achieve the
primary objective education. Most science relies on the practical lesson to emphasize certain
principles. Similarly, political science should equally embrace the practical aspects of learning
through political simulation. Political simulation can, therefore, be defined as the application of
various actions to stimulate the students understanding of most principles, laws, and processes
that they need to develop by the end of the cause. For example, setting up a full governing
system among the learners and expect them to apply what is meant to execute the duties
assumed in various positions.

To further understand political simulation, the primary aims in political science must be
clarified. For instance, the simulation displays a broad spectrum of how the new developments
and theories transform the political landscapes as well as the general impact on people's lives.
In addition, the dynamics of the British constitution and its focus on the devolution is easily
understood through the simulation process (Johanna Leunig & Sven Ivens, 2020). Furthermore,
simulation plays a vital role in decision making since their action in the simulation process
displays the abilities of the learners. A good example is when the European parliamentarian
system was tested in and the effect analyzed, it was evident that simulation activities motivated
the students, especially in Germany (Johanna Leunig & Sven Ivens, 2020). The political
simulations are becoming more in civic education and political science as a discipline.

Political simulation promotes learning through the motivation of the learners. However, before
fully employing simulation in political science, the instructors should emphasize the seriousness
of through redefining it. The political simulation follows core design principles for it to be
effective. The application requires that the objectives are defined and within the scope of
learning (Eric C. Sands and Allison Shelton, 2010). This expected to enhance knowledge
acquisition and substantive skills needed in real-life application. Secondly, there should be an
alignment of the simulation to the learning objectives and a clear model of monitoring as well
as an assessment of the simulations. Simulations should provide an environment for the
learners to fulfil the expectations of the instructors, along with their academic desire. Thirdly,
the feedback system is necessary when a political simulation is used in enhancing the learning
of a principle.

Despite the benefits of simulation in political science, some dimensions should be spelt out
what the students are required to learn from it and the impact on others (Raymond, 2013). The
time frame for each activity should be defined since the simulations may take an along period
convey the intended purpose to the targeted audience. Consideration should be given to the
assessment procedures as a dimension of simulation. Strict guidance to the students since
some simulation involves the larger money transactions, which may influence them negatively
and miss the intended objective of the simulation (Eric C. Sands and Allison Shelton, 2010).
