QUESTION/TASK 1 (50%):

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of this assignment is to enhance individual student’s skills, knowledge,


and cognitive in analysing and evaluating an organisation’s internal and external
environment.

REQUIREMENT:
Download the annual report of Media Prima from the following link:

Conduct Internal analysis and External analysis for Media Prima. Prepare the
following information.

Part I: Vision and Mission


1.1 Vision – Evaluate the vision
1.2 Mission – Evaluate the mission
1.3 Suggestion – should the vision and mission statements change or maintain
Part II: External Analysis
2.1 Analyse the industry. Identify the 5 opportunities and 5 threats
2.2 Prepare a EFE matrix
Part III: Internal Analysis
3.1 Evaluate the current financial performance of the organisations
3.2 Identify the 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses
3.3 Prepare an IFE matrix
3.4 Prepare a competitive profile matrix (CPM)

REQUIREMENT:
Refer to task 1, generate strategies for Media Prima by using few matching tools.
