The Register Numbers are arranged in their numerical sequence. The candidates whose numbers are included in
Provisional Preliminary List are directed to attend verification of their original documents at the date, time and place
prescribed by the Commission.
Note :- (1) Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny of application.
Note :- (2) The list has been prepared by including the number of candidates who have secured top marks in the OMR
Test- Preliminary Exam Paper I and Paper II .
Note :- (3) The Minimum marks for inclusion in the list of candidates belonging to various Reservation communities
have been lowered to ensure their adequate representation in the Preliminary List. Such candidates shall not be
considered for the main examination unless they prove their community. The marks of DA candidates have also been
lowered to ensure 4% reservation, as per G.O.(P) No:11/2019/SJD dated 25/10/2019. The candidates who have
secured 77 (Seventy Seven) marks and above are included in the Provisional Preliminary List .
Note :- (4) Candidates included in the Provisional Preliminary List should present and produce in person the original
documents for One Time Verification. The detailed schedule of verification of documents of the candidates included in
the list will be informed through the candidates profile and also in the website of the Kerala Public Service
Commission- www.keralapsc.gov.in .
Note :- (5) The Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe candidates who are claiming reservation in appointment and age
relaxation should produce Community Certificate which is obtained within the last 3 years or obtained up to the
verification date, from a revenue authority not below the rank of Tahsildar, as and when required by the Commission.
Note :- (6) The Backward community candidates who claim reservation in appointment should produce Non-Creamy
Layer Certificate which is obtained within one year or obtained up to the date of verification from a revenue authority
not below the rank of a village Officer, and the candidates who claim age relaxation alone shall produce Caste
Certificate as and when required by the Commission.
Note :- (7) The Differently abled candidates should produce Certificate of Benchmark Disability as per
G.O.(P).No.11/2019/SJD dated 25.10.2019.
Note :- (8) In the case of difference in original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC
Book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette Notification in this regard, along with Non -Creamy Layer
Certificate/Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
Note :- (9) If the documents produced by any candidate are found defective the Commission reserves the right for
rejection of their candidature at any stage of selection as per rule.
Note :- (10) The marks obtained in the preliminary examination by the candidate will not be considered for ranking.
Note :- (11) According to the existing procedure, revaluation of Answer Script is not allowed. But Answer Scripts will
be rechecked if the candidates apply for in the prescribed application form available free of cost from the Enquiry
Sections of the various Offices of the Commission or its photocopy, or downloaded and printed in A 4 size paper from
the Commission's website www.keralapsc.gov.in or Photocopied there from along with prescribed fee of Rs. 85/-
(Rupees Eighty Five Only) per paper under the Head of Account "0051 - PSC - 105 State PSC 99 - Examination Fee"
addressed to the Deputy Secretary (Examinations)-II, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom
P.O.,Thiruvananthapuram- 695004. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered. A period of 15
(Fifteen) days time to apply for rechecking of Answer Scripts will be allowed to candidates with effect from
the Date on which this Provisional Preliminary list is uploaded in the website of commission (on or before
09.09.2020). The candidates can avail only one chance after the Approval of Provisional Preliminary List. Rechecking
of invalidated answer scripts due to any defects will not be considered. Application for Rechecking received after the
stipulated

time will not be entertained and Fee once remitted will not be refunded.
Note :- (12) Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their OMR Answer Sheets (Part A & Part B) relating to this
selection shall remit a Fee of Rs. 335/- (Rupees Three Hundred and thirty five only) per paper in any of the Treasuries
in the State (Head of Account : 0051 - PSC - 800 - State PSC -99-Other Receipts). The duly filled in application in the
prescribed form available from the Commission's website www.keralapsc.gov.in along with the original chalan should
be submitted to the Deputy Secretary (Examinations)-II, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom P.O.,
Thiruvananthapuram- 695004 within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date on which this Provisional Preliminary List
is uploaded in the website of commission. A copy of an answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate.
Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from
applying for copy of an answer sheet which is not their own, and legal proceedings will be initiated against those who
do so. The last date for receipt of applications is 09.09.2020. Applications received after the prescribed date will not
be entertained.
Note :- (13) Candidates whose Register Numbers are invalidated are advised to refer to Notification No : ER
III(1)1658/2020/EW dated 26.08.2020.
Note :- (14) Details of Main Examination KAS Officer (Junior Time Scale) Trainee STREAM – I (Category No.
186/2019)in Kerala Administrative Service.
The main examination for selection to the post KAS Officer (Junior Time Scale) Trainee STREAM – I will be a
descriptive type examination containing 3 papers of 100 marks each and 2 hours duration. The examination will be
conducted in three regions of Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram,Ernakulam and Kozhikkode.)Details of the examination is
as follows:-
Candidates are not required to submit any special confirmation for appearing in the main examination.Admission
tickets of candidates who are found eligible to appear for the main examination can be downloaded from their profile
from 06/11/2020 onwards.
