Jabber Client Installation

Pre-Requisite ( for installation & Log-in)

1. Jabber Client Installation File

HP portal -> Other Links -> IT resources -> Unified Communication and Video conferencing ->
Cisco Jabber (12.7.0) ---- Click, download & Save.

2. Admin Password/Privilege
(Consult Local IT helpdesk)

3. Use EMP-ID@hpcl.co.in as user id & ADS password as password for login.

Installing the Jabber Client

Steps to install the Jabber client

1. Double Click on the downloaded “CiscoJabberSetup” file

2. The Windows Installer will check & prepare for the installation

3. Click “Accept & Install” as shown in the window below

4. Cisco Jabber will start installing as shown in below window

5. Installation successfully completed windows will be as below

6. Now Launch the Jabber Client & login using ADS credentials. For calling thru jabber, select “use my
computer” in “call settings -> device for calls” situated at bottom right corner of jabber client.
