PROFILE

Sacred Heart Medical Center, located at MacArthur Highway, Bgy. Sto.

Domingo, Angeles City, Philippines, is a private, tertiary hospital existing under
the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. It was granted License to Operate by
the Department of Health on September 22, 2009, blessed and inaugurated on
September 25, 2009, opened to serve the community on November 11, 2009.
Owned and operated by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Medical Center of Angeles
Foundation, Inc..

VISION:

Sacred Heart Medical Center envisions to be a teaching, training and

research hospital and the pioneer center for cancer prevention, detection and
management, north of Metro Manila, by 2015.

MISSION:

The mission of SHMC is to provide state-of-the-art facilities that aid our

duly-accredited medical staff in the accurate diagnosis and management of multi-
disciplinary disorders and to allow our competent hospital staff to render equal
opportunities for all patients to enjoy the quality of care that they deserve, at
affordable cost.

GOALS:

In fulfillment if its vision and mission, SHMC aims:

To be an advocate of holistic care, focusing not only on the physical or

physiologic needs of its patients, but also on their emotional and spiritual needs;

To employ well-trained, duly-accredited and highly respected doctors to provide

their intellectual expertise on the medical and surgical care of their patients;

To employ duly-licensed, competent, compassionate and efficient medical,

nursing and non-medical staff to guarantee team effort in the delivery of quality
health care, in response to the needs of patients;
To encourage, motivate and support continuing educational programs for
professional enhancement and personality improvement that will promote
progressive growth and stability of the medical center.

LEADERSHIP

The Board of Trustees of SHMC and the other key officials of the hospital,
duly chosen for their leadership abilities and managerial expertise, are committed
to spearhead the successful operations of the hospital, in collaboration with all
their partners in hospital management, sharing a common vision and mission for
SHMC.
