History and Tradition

Medidas Medical Center, Inc. had its humble beginning 35 years ago when Dr.
Saturnino A. Medidas, a neophyte medical doctor opened his own out-patient clinic at
Mabini St., Valencia City, Bukidnon on a rented space. He started with just one staff. As
the time went by he was able to build a name himself and became busier with a growing
number of patient each day and with more employees helping in the operation. His
brand of care is his focus and passion when caring for his patients that he attends to
them personally.

Later in 1992, he was able to buy his own lot and build his own clinic/office at Roxas St.,
Valencia City. It was them that he decided to have it licensed by the DOH as a primary
hospital. Later Dr. Medidas put up his own clinical laboratory as an added service for his
clients. In 2003, the facility was temporary closed for one year to give way for a total
renovation and had it accredited with PhilHealth for the first time in 2006.

With the growing demands both from our growing number of patients who wants to avail
of our services that cannot be accommodated in our small 16 bed facility and from the
DOH demanding for requires to continue operation the family decided to finally expand
its operation and build a two store hospital building.

Right now with the blessings of the Almighty God. Medidas Medical Clinic is now
Medidas Medical Center, Inc. standing great and tall along Guinoyuran St., Valencia
City. The Medidas family with our competent medical and nursing staff are happy to
serve our clientele in our community and the neighboring towns with this new 46 bed
capacity hospital building equipped with spacious comfortable private rooms, wards,
