It´s Friday afternoon, and all the students in the English class are thinking about their plans for the
weekend. For example, Nataly is going to work in a tourism information office because she needs
money. Daniela is going to travel by car to Cali with some relatives because her aunt is gonna buy
a flat there. Karen is going to visit her parents in Fusagasugá because they are planning to go
abroad next month. Rose is gonna play basketball with her friends in the neighborhood. Erika is
gonna work in the oil company in Bogota. Jessica is going to paint her house because it is really
dirty. Yubelly is gonna go hiking in the mountains. Philip is gonna take a job interview with the
food and beverage manager of a new tourism company in the town. Even, the English teacher is
gonna meet with a friend of him because they are gonna write a new English textbook.

Unfortunately, the students of the English class are going to be very disappointed. According to
the weather forecast, it´s going to “rain cats and dogs” all weekend.
