H. Rewrite the following sentences (5pts.). (Riki, I have a problem with 3 of the
sentences here and therefore I marked them in red. I would like you to know
that 'will' and 'be going to' are not synonymous and shouldn't be taught as such.
They have different meanings and one can't replace the other; 'will' is for
predictions and 'be going to' is for plans. I wouldn't want such mistakes to
appear on our tests. I left only the last three sentences, which I also changed
because 'be going to' and the present progressive can be synonymous in
meaning; they both imply the meaning of plans for the future. You can leave
this part with only 3 points and add another 2 points to the next part so tha it
would be 10 points.
