Discuss among yourselves and report on how quantity orientation of life, fame,
prestige and the like will affect your journey towards the good life.

Answer :
We humans do things for a reason mainly with the fact that it would please & give
us contentment later at the end of time.

The orientation of Life, Fame, Prestige and the Like will really affect our journey
towards achieving a good life in the present and future. The way we perceived our life
right now will be the outcome of the good life that we want to achieve. We should be
conscious enough of what we act and view things in the right way. It is okay to be
noticed by someone for the things that we do but we should always bear in mind that
having that fame would not lead us to be boastful and arrogant on treating other
people just because of the success that we have achieved. Having so many things that
we like can give us happiness but dealing with those things in an improper way could
really affect our journey towards a good life. Sometimes those things that we like only
give us a short term or temporary happiness. All of us want to have a good life.
Having that contentment in our hearts, we can experience happiness and discover the
true meaning of life.

Being contented of what we have is one way to achieve good life. Appreciating
every little things and wanting less splendid stuffs could already made us the happiest
person. However, not everyone would accept this kind of perspective. People were
given the opportunity to dream and have goals in life and some take it seriously to the
point that "contentment" became a strange word for them. Fame, wealth, and power.
Those are earthly things that every people desires. Having good friends could make us
famous, being healthy will make us rich, and being able to raise a family could gives
us power. These could make everything simple. But many overdo those things. Sky is
the limit, but they still want to surpass it. If they keep and continue having that kind of
mentality, they won't be able to see and experience the beauty of life. Aim moderately.
Question No. 3:
How does unreflective life in the face of science and technology development will
affect human life?

Answer:
In the face of science and technology, humans who are living an unreflective life
definitely cannot adapt and adjust to the changes. Since science and technology is a
medium that allows us to thrive and flourish in life we so desire, having an unthinking
life will make us out-dated with the advancement and development of technology.
Science and Technology give us convenience and make our lives easier which leads
us to a good life. We, humans, are tasked to occasionally question ourselves and the
world as otherwise, we will act without reason. Not examining our lives with the rules
and changes present in our society would let us shirk the convenience and help that
science and technology offer us and will unable us achieve the good life we are
aiming.
