Sahastradhara which means ‘Thousand Fold Spring’, is situated 14 km from the city of
Dehradun. Located on the banks of Baldi River, it is famously known for its Sulphur water
springs as the waterfall cascades through limestone stalactites making water rich in
Sulphur. Known for its pristine water springs, Sahastradhara exhibits ethereal natural
beauty. Known for the medicinal merits and therapeutic value, it has a collection of water
pools where a dip in the Sulphur-rich water feels cold and refreshing but also believed to
have remarkable medicinal advantages. Taking bath in Thousand Fold Spring is considered
to be auspicious as it can heal anyone suffering from ailments like muscle ache, poor blood
circulation, acne and even arthritis. Tourists from all over the country visits the place to get
the mesmerizing natural view of the place and for its mind-blowing serenity and
