    Individual Worksheet for Module 1M: BSN Program Outcomes of CDU-CN

    Instructions: Search for an article online showing the different competencies that
    nurses have in any field of nursing practice. Read the entire article and make an essay
    in answer to the following guide questions below.

    1. What is the article about?


    2. What can you say about the competencies of the nurse in the situation?
    3. Give your own personal views on the situation.

    The essay should be fitted in one (1) page short-sized paper. The essay should be
    composed of:

    Introductory Section: Three (3) sentences.


    Give a brief overview about the article.

    Content: Five (5) Sentences


    Explain thoroughly your answers to the question provided.

    Closing Section: Two (2) sentences


    Final thoughts and remarks to the article

    All submissions should be saved in a pdf document.

    Nursing competency is a core ability that is required for fulfilling nursing responsibilities.  An
    overview of the article shows the need for basic competencies in disaster preparedness
    and response in addition to the usual clinical skills.  Also, identify what every nurse
    needs to know to serve effectively as a member of an emergency and disaster response
    team.
