JOB DESCRIPTION

I. JOB IDENTIFICATION

Position Title : Building Administrator

Division : Strategic Shared Services

Section/Department : Building Administrator

Name of Immediate Superior : Property Manager

II. KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Accountable To :

Directly Supervises : Utilities, Maintenance, Security & Receptionist

Coordination : Property Manager

III. JOB OBJECTIVE/S


The Building Administration position supports and assists in the management of the building in
accordance with the Management Agreements. The Building Admin is involved in all aspects of
day-to-day operations of the property, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, security,
janitorial services, landscaping, etc. The Building Admin handles tenant complaints and service
requests and must be familiar with the terms of tenant leases.

IV. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Oversees the day to day operations, maintenance, security, engineering and administration
of the community including periodic inspection looking for repair needs, safety hazards,
code violation and policy violations
2. Planning and overseeing building and unit maintenance and work / renovation
3. Managing building maintenance activities
4. Supervise multi – disciplinary teams of staff including maintenance, technician, and security
5. Attend to daily tenants complain and requirements
6. Act as Chief Fire Marshall in the event of an evacuation of the property for fire or bomb
threats.
7. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the management

9. Conduct Preventive Maintenance as required on the Equipment whether Annually,
Quarterly and Monthly
10. Monitor and review the operation of all on service subcontractors. In particular, cleaning,
security, pest control and lift contractors and to ensure that any work contracted is
completed as agreed and at the cost quoted.
11. Monitor and control all Purchase Order (PO), Work Orders (WO) and Requisition Forms (RF)
generated in respect of the property.
