Draft tube Gates Electrical Schedule

Inspection/Maintaince
Precaution :
1. Turning on of the motor shall be avoided during inspection of
the gates, use LOTO to avoid any accidents.
2. Adjustment of brakes shall be done by skilled personnel only.

Tools required For Inspection:

1. Beam light
2. Screwdriver set
3. Spanner 8-16mm
4. Clamp meter
5. Megger 1kV

Checks:
1. Check the Incomer Supply Voltage
2. Checks for any opening for the entry of the vermin and the rats
3. Check the tightness of the connection
4. Check for the operation of the switches and contractors
5. Check the functioning of the limit Switch
6. Check the alignment of the brake pad and the drum
7. Check for any loose connection in bolts of the spring
8. Check the healthiness of motor(Megger Data)
9. Check EHT oil level and the EHT operation proper or not
10. Note down any remarks if Any.
11. Note Main hoist traveling time : 1.2 m/min was the specified
