Questions

1- What are the pedagogical strategies you are considering to use in this face-to-face
practice? Include deep description of each strategy.

At this time, I do not work with children for this I consider that first it is essential to analyze
the course with which I am going to work and, in this way, select strategies that help me do a
better job

I think that a good start is to carry out immersion activities which help to familiarize students
with the new language, an example of these is reading texts in that language, listening to
music in English or speaking openly or better said try to express themselves as much as
possible in that language, everything that has to do with oral and auditory representation since
in this way they develop in a better way the understanding of the language assimilating it in a
more natural way

I believe that for this strategy it is very important to show that the most important thing is that
students learn what they want to be taught, they know how to manage time correctly, giving
positive feedback, always respecting the integrity of the students

This strategy focuses on building vocabulary and a good relationship between the teacher and
the students, through periods of time in the same class in which students can be asked to point
to objects and say their name in English, give them socialization spaces in which they have to
express themselves as much as possible in English, reviewing the meanings of what has been
taught in class and the use of interactive vocabulary building exercises that are related to the
reading material of the class .

This strategy is more focused on children and preteens who do not have a very clear language
concept

The implementation of clubs outside of class which help to reinforce the teaching of the
language and not only the language but also other subjects, this strategy focuses more on
students in the last grades who already have another perspective on the language present , this
strategy is significant not only for the students but also for the teacher since it reinforces the
ties between the two, these spaces generate the opportunity to think in a more critical way
about what is being done comparing the results of all In the activities that are being carried

out, the masters can also identify the appropriate strategies in addition to testing new
strategies to define which strategy is the most appropriate and how to innovate

2- What are the differences between didactic and pedagogy as disciplines? Make a wide
description.

pedagogy is the discipline that studies everything necessary to know how, why and what
everything entails in the educational process.

Pedagogy deals with the investigation of global problems of education, relies on the branches
of philosophy, anthropology, sociology and several of the branches of psychology, this is
reflected in an educational program or project. By focusing on the social, it is perceived in a
general way, that is, as the social education system.

Didactics is better known as the teaching and learning process through techniques and
practical methods with which it seeks to bring students closer to knowledge, didactics is based
mostly on the psychological branch of pedagogy, it is mostly modeled or carried out to
obtaining results is different from each other, it is responsible for limiting the methods,
strategies and standards.

3- Describe 5 activities that you will do in the classroom in an English class, explain the
theoretical background of the strategy and the author linked to the activity.

Activity 1:

This activity consists more or less of a turn-based game in which two things are used:

a word or sentence list of previously viewed topics and a die.

The list of topics is adapted to the level and age of the students, the activity consists of the
students talking about the topics, in general with sentences with their personal opinion about
the topic, telling anecdotes or related things.

A list of topic types could be:

 Family  Animals
 sports  Summer activities
 Weekend hobbies  Etc

3
The class will be distributed in the first phase in small groups in which the students will
interact with each other in groups of 5 people, this is done so that the students lose a little fear
of speaking in public, the second phase consists of a more group and that a circle will be
formed in which a round of tingo tingo tango will be held to choose the person who is going
to speak on the subject.

In the first phase the dice will be rolled, according to the number that comes out they will
have to talk about that topic for 3 to 6 minutes per group, the groups will consist of 2 to a
maximum of 3 people, this is done to evaluate the understanding of the topics and reinforce
speaking and listening skills as well as building confidence in students.

Activity 2

This activity is based or emphasized on the audio linguistic method, focuses on vocabulary
and trains sentence patterns.

This is a game of names, first of all, the students will be asked to form a circle since it is
necessary that the teacher can see all the students and in turn the students can see each other,
it consists in that a student has to say their name and do some action at the same time, This
could be shaking hands or any other type of movement, each student must do a different
action, when passing the next student must repeat the sentence of the previous one, it is
circumstantial that each action is different from The previous one, when the first round of the
circle has been completed, the students should be asked to say the phrase of one of their
classmates and the action that he / she performed, The person you choose must first say the
name of another person and perform the action correspondent. This continues until everyone's
name has been said.

Activity 3

For this activity, the silent method will be used, which consists of the teacher going to be
quiet for a large part of the activity so that the students are able to express themselves more
freely.

4
It is a classic activity that most if not all people know is the classic broken phone, the rules are
very basic, the class is going to be divided into 2 groups, then from that it will proceed to give
a member of the group a word or a sentence, the student must be attentive to the phrase that
the teacher gives him and pass it whispering to his partner on the side until reaching the last
member, in the end that person will have to stand up and say what the sentence is.

Students will be encouraged with a small reward such as a sweet or a decima in an exam

Activity 4

This activity focuses more on listening and acting quickly in this activity the students will
make a wide circle around the teacher, in this exercise there will be one chair less than the
number of students, there should always be one less The dynamics is based on the teacher
giving an order that will be "Change places if" and something like (you have short hair) is
added and when the students with that characteristic stand up the teacher removes a chair
from and they have to change of places and whoever is left without a chair has to make a
sentence with the keyword said by the teacher will be out of the dynamic and so on until there
are only two people left

Activity 5

This activity is based more on teamwork through the direct method, the students will
be put in pairs so that between them they can write a dialogue or story that has
coherence, it is in turns for example when the student Juanito is speaking Diego has
to write what he says and vice versa, at the end of the dialogue, it will be checked
that what the students wrote has the same theme in common or they only spoke for
speaking.

Later if the teacher wants and incentives the students with extra points, they can go
on to read their dialogues.

4. How is your English level according to the European Framework? Explain some
strategies you will use to help the students to improve their English level.

This is something very important, first it should be noted that for now according to the CEFR
exam it says that I am C1 but I recognize that my level is B2, I am able to express myself

5
correctly and in most of the steps coherently and to produce texts simple on the topics that are
being talked about without going very deep into them.

I think that teaching beginners is quite a challenge both in English and in other subjects,
involving students in learning does not have to be boring for them but it has to be entertaining
and interesting I think what it does That students lose interest is the lack of innovation by
some educational institutions which do not dare to propose teaching methods to their teachers,
all students learn better when they are involved with the material so one of the methods or
strategies that would be used would be immersion in the subject in which they will be given
space in the same class in which communication will be as much as possible in English this in
order to familiarize students with the language, the implementation of ICTs in the Current
learning has been a very beneficial factor for students and is another method to implement in
a classroom since it allows students to learn in a more essential way, besides stimulating them
in an audio linguistic way, it must be admitted that children and young people love
technology that is why the creation of applications and videos catches their attention, with
simple pronunciation games it helps them to repeat phrases and sentences well , or
audiobooks that will help you understand the pronunciation of the words through a story.

5. Explain some strategies you will use to manage discipline and bad behavior of the
students.

I think that first of all you have to establish rules in the classroom, such as:

raise your hand when someone wants to talk

I generally believe that to deal with problem students is to introduce them to the activities, not
to treat them as a problem but as another normal student, instigating positive behavior with
phrases of encouragement and praise, which will make their behavior improve in addition to
having a good relationship with them. students who show respect for each other in class

it is better to establish a good relationship with problem students than to fight with them, it
has to be made known that although one is an authority in the classroom, they can trust the
teacher, it is better to create respect than discord with the students

6. Prepare and draft 5 questions for an interview with your supporting teacher.

1. What are the strategies you use in the classroom to motivate student to learn English?

6
2. How will you use, technology in the classroom?
3. How would you deal with a case of bulling in your class?
