GERUNDIO E INFINITIVO

SIN CAMBIO en significado:

like prefer continue

hate start etc.

CON CAMBIO en significado: remember, forget y stop

REMEMBER + GERUND = recuerdo del pasado

I remember eating at that restaurant when I was young.

REMEMBER + INFINITIVO = acordarse de hacer algo

She remembered to buy the ingredients for the cake.

FORGET + GERUND = frases negativas, no poder olvidar algo del pasado

Tim will never forget meeting his favourite singer.

FORGET + INFINITIVO = olvidarse de hacer algo

I forgot to buy the tickets for the concert.

STOP + GERUND = dejar de hacer algo como hábito

She stopped using the mobile phone a month ago.

STOP + INFINITIVO = parar una acción un momento, para hacer otra

They stopped to buy some milk on their way home.
