DRILL: FOUR PIC ONE WORD
REVIEW: About the previous topic
Motivation: The teacher will ask the students on how they value their life as an individual being’s.

A1.ACTIVITY: SMALL GOUP ACTIVITY


The students will be group into 9.
Each group must select a story teller.
They will be given 20 minutes to read and understand the literary work of the novel entitled “The
Plague”.
A2.APPLICATION: Group Reporting
Each group will be given different questions to be answered.

A3. ANALYSIS
Discussionabout the topic.

A4. ABSTRACTION
1. What is the moral lesson of the story?
2. Does the message of the work have meaning for you?
3. Why is it important to have unity as human individuals?

Agree or Disagree WHY?
Explain the following statement in a ½ sheet of paper.
1. Father Paneloux uses the plague as an opportunity to advance his stature in town by suggesting that
the plague was an act of God punishing the citizens’’ sinful nature.

2. Rieux reflex on the epidemic and reaches the conclusion that there is more to admire than to despise
in humans.
