Definition of Announcement

Announcement is a text that describes a notification about an event that

will be held, and is more for the general audience.

Announcement atau pemberitahuan/pengumuman adalah suatu text baik

berupa lisan atau tulisan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi
tentang pemberitahuan suatu acara kepada para pendengar / masyarakat
umum.

b. Generic Structure

1. Title
The title of an announcement text usually describes a general overview.
2. Explanation
This is the part of the text that contains the details of the event. For
example, the time of an even, place, an otherinformations needed. 
3.  More Information/Contact Person (Berisi informasi pelengkap)
Dalam membuat teks announcement, pastikan kalian telah menuliskan
tujuan penulisan, siapa yang membuat pengumuman itu dan kapan
suatu kejadian akan terjadi. Dari contoh ini, sudah dituliskan tentang
Hari, tanggal, dan dimana suatu acara akan dilaksanakan. Penulis juga
memberikan informasi mengenai contact person dari pihak yang
membuat pengumuman. Contact person dapat berupa nomor telepon
atau email. Selain itu, setelah kalimat ajakan, pastikan bahwa kalian
menggunakan tanda seru. 
c. Tujuan/ purpose
The purpose is to inform the announcement text information about an event,
job vacancies, new enrollment, new admissions, and so on”. 
Announcement consist of the information about what, where, when, who,
why, or how that all depend on the content of announcement.

Edict (penguman yang bersifat resmi)

happen.
