If I were a leader of the district in my country,

I would endeavor social work.

A leader is a person who has been chosen by a group of people to make better

the district. In our times, the majority of leaders are involved in several problems related

to corruption. However, if I were a leader of a district, I would like to endeavor social

work through several events because it is a good way to meet the community and know

their problems. I think it is a good practice to improve the quality of life.

As I mentioned, Social Work would be interesting because I wish I could help

them about their education, poverty, injustice social, and others. If I could create a team,

it would help me to work faster to run out the district’s necessities. Thus, I would like to

organize events during the weekend because it is a good chance to talk about their

problems and how to solve them.

In order to make these events, I wish I could make a planning social for every

weekend, for example, the first weekend, I could invite an exhibitor to talk about health

and education, another weekend, to sell food at low prices, and the other weekend, to

organize a concert that include different types of music, and so on. Afterwards, those

events will be run in an easy way. I know it would be difficult in organizational

matters, but if I were a leader, my primordial goal would be to contribute the quality of

life of my district.

Also, I would like to visit all houses that are part of my district because

sometimes the elderly people cannot go to those events. I would like to bring them

medical attention, food, and having fun. Definitively, the mission of a leader of district

is very important because I have to find the solution of many problems. Sometimes, it

would be a stressful job.

 Finally, if I were a leader, I would do many educational activities because a

leader must be a person that helps to create social conditions that support communities

in development. The practice of social work requires knowledge of human development

and behavior, as well as the interaction of social, economic, and cultural factors.
