TOPIC LOG 2
WHY WAS SIN PERMITTED?
1. What did you learn from this topic?

I learned about the real meaning of the great controversy that in order to show that God is
love, he allowed sin to end Lucifer’s abode. I learned that Lucifer’s pride led his downfall as the
cherub of God. I was enticed to the fact that loyal angels whom were indicted to God’s word,
still persuaded Lucifer and the blinded angels to change their perspective. I learned that sin was
permitted for God to show that He isn’t unfair as what Lucifer is trying to convince to other
people; that God is loving and just to forgive our sins. I learned that Lucifer who was the light
bearer changed its named to Satan which means the Adversary.

2. How did it make an impact to you?

Learning about the Great Controversy inspired me to change the way I look up to my
individual faith. It caused me think of my real purpose in life. I was amazed at how God was still
merciful to Lucifer, than an ample amount of chance was given to Lucifer by Him just to change
us. I got intrigued with how a perfect and beautiful man like lucifer turned His face from His
Maker. I truly was appalled with what happened in the Great Controversy, for it only shows how
inseparable our God is when it comes to faith consistency. I drifted my way to allowing God in
my presence and not let my insecurities make the best out of me, because that is not how God
wants me to think of. I definitely inspired myself to make my faith stronger.

3. How will you apply it in your personal life?

With my daily life, I always experience a series of great controversy. Thus, it is only
imperative for me to read always the Bible since it is a helpful tool in eradicating Satan in my
life. Applying all the biblical doctrines in my life would help me signify the true values of a
humble and believing soldier of Christ. I should be able to imply all the things that I learned
from my school setting. I need to take out all my pride and insecurities, because I don’t want it
to be the reason why my faith suspends on a down path. I will always remain faithful unto Him
and trust His plans for God’s way is the best way. I will claim His glory that my days will be
blessed with His utmost love.
