Dear IMTians,

IMT cherishes the lineage of 40 batches of alumni who are well established in their career and
bring to the table an enormous amount of industry experience and knowledge. As you graduate
from a student to an Alumna/Alumnus, you have the opportunity of becoming a part of
the Alumni Association, an overarching forum of the alumni network at IMT. 

The IMT Alumni Association (an independent body for IMT Alumni which is responsible for all

the alumni initiatives) has opened the enrolments for the students.

Alumni Association, consisting of senior alumni, works for the welfare of the Alumni, binding

them together to create a circle of goodwill for the Brand IMT that can be leveraged by the
campus. 

As a member, you will be able to leverage many opportunities that the Association opens up for
you. Apart from access to many distinguished alumni in networking features, some of the key
facilities in line can be enlisted as below:

1.   IMT Alumni Website – It is an interactive platform to further strengthen

the IMT Alumni Network.  You can simply network with alumni in your city, to reach out to your
Alma Mater working in the same industry or an industry of your choice, finding an alumni mentor
or scholarly post on various industries by industry experts or simply checking out
the alumni events or ordering memorabilia of IMT, the website and mobile app will has it all.
The membership is open to association members only on a priority basis. 

As a Member you would be able to:  

         Connect with other alumni and learn from their experience. 

         Join the Industry groups of your choice and reach out to the alumni who are working there. 
         Join the specialization (subject) groups like Marketing, HR, Finance
         Reach out to your alumni to get short term projects 
         Reach out to alumni to get mentored with live examples of their career journey 
         Seek funds for your entrepreneurial venture from the network. 
         Join the city chapters to know more about alumni initiatives happening in your city
         Job searches through the network. 

2. Alumni Placement Services: This is an offline service that works as the placement cell for
the alumni when they are looking forward to job changes. Senior alumni come on board as
recruiters and place their requirements with the Alumni Association and
the IMT Alumni Association provides them with the relevant pre screened resumes of IMTians.
This is a unique platform where IMT Alumni Association bring recruiters and job seekers among
the alumni together.  In the past few months during the Covid situation – IMTAA placed 20
summer internship students and 8 final placements through the alumni network.

3 IMT Lounge at Gurgaon -  Join in formal interactions with senior alumni at the events or just
meet up with IMT friends and access other facilities of the IMT Lounge. This place is designed
with pictures of nostalgia from every batch and is an “Adda point” for alumni. Webinars and
alumni interactions are held from here.  

4.  Goa Stays (Passions de Goa) – A first of its kind project by the alumni network of any B-
School, the project provides resort facilities exclusively to IMTians, at a huge discounted rate.
The decor and interiors are designed in a way so that the visiting alumni feel the nostalgia
of IMT days. You will have access to this project as a member. 

 5.  Career Mentorship - Seek guidance from alumni mentors, join the groups on Tech, FMCG,
Finance, many others   

6. Entrepreneurship - Access the base of alumni mentors, ask for their guidance to refine your
business plans. You can even advertise your business in the alumni community.

Next Steps

1. Enrol in the IMT Alumni Website The life time membership fee is currently maintained at
Rs.3000 but is scheduled to go up shortly. You would then need to go to
the alumni website (imtalumni.com) and create your login and make the payment. The
approval process of your login application will take a week from the time you have
created your login and your payment details have been verified.

 Please note that the alumni fee collected during your admission along with the regular fees
is towards the college fund and has nothing to do with this.
