I am writing on behalf of MTIM COOP, a valued member of the Cooperative Union of Iligan City (CUIC). As
part of our commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to industry standards, we seek your
assistance in clarifying certain matters pertaining to cooperative training and development. Specifically, we
would appreciate information on the following:
We would like to know if there is a Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) memorandum circular or
resolution specifying the validity duration of the mandatory training certificates received by individual
cooperative members who attended the training seminar. Could you please tell us whether the
timeframe is 3 years, 5 years, or any other duration? Furthermore, if a certificate expires, is it necessary
for the member to retake the same seminar for renewal?
Given the dynamic nature of learning environments, we are interested in exploring the feasibility of
conducting cooperative seminars through online platforms. Could you provide information on CUIC's
policy or stance regarding the possibility of hosting cooperative seminars in a virtual format?
Recognizing the expertise of many cooperative officers in their respective fields, we would like to seek
clarification on the possibility of exempting them from mandatory cooperative seminars. Alternatively,
could these experienced officers be considered as trainers or facilitators for such seminars?
We believe that your insights and guidance on these matters will greatly contribute to the effective planning
and execution of our cooperative training programs. We appreciate your attention to these inquiries and
look forward to receiving your response at your earliest convenience.
Should you require any additional details or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me at
evdeiparine@gmail.com or 09919239518/09163313408.
Thank you for your time, cooperation, and continued support of cooperative development in Iligan City.
Sincerely,
