INTRODUCTION

Almost all students in Calbayog city from elementary school

through the university level are required to wear a uniform, and it’s
been shown that this regulation can bring about a lowered sense of
self-esteem among LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) students
whose gender preferences and sexual orientations are different. There
are few educational institutes that allow students to dress as they like
