REFLECTION

The Outreach program is one of the requirement in NSTP, on February 01, 2020 the Bachelor of Science
in Social Work held their outreach program in Brgy. Cagboborac with the theme “LEADERSHIP” under
Values formation and Moral Recovery.

As a student it is not my first time to do an outreach program that’s why as I observe I see a lot of
problems or mistake in our program. Our program is supposed to be two ways, in the plan we should
have a seminar about LEADERSHIP but a problem came up the supposed to be audience of the programs
or seminar is the youth but they don’t want to participate I think it is because we, as a part of the team
lack at explaining to them about the seminar or they are not convince enough about our program that is
why we just proceed in the parlor games, in the parlor games kids participate well. I can say that the kids
had fun in the games that we prepare. Even though it did not go with the plan at least the parlor games
is connected to the theme because in a game you need a leader, and everybody can be a leader.

In the outreach program I learned a lot of things, I learned and realized that cooperation in a team is
very important, you cannot come up in a better plan if you don’t participate with your teammates. I just
want to say thank you to my classmate and ma’am Calagos for a wonderful experience may this failure
serve as a lesson to us and we should develop our mistake to a better one.
