WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU DID DIFFERENTLY THAT LED TO YOUR EFFECTIVE
SCHOOL PERFORMANCE?

DOMAIN 1. SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

How do you make sure that the school programs and projects are aligned with the
DepED’s vision, mission and values? Who are actually involved in the school
improvement planning?

Well ma’am, all of our school programs and projects are anchored with the DepEd
Mission, Vision and Goals so we have the school planning team who are involved in drafting our
SIP or the School Improvement Plan these SIP will serve as our roadmap or our guide in the full
implementation of our plans programs, and projects which is stated in our SIP.

What problem solving techniques have you employed to ensure immediate solution to
problematic situations?

Yes, there are some problems encountered but as school head we should perform our
very best to solve those problems with the help of the members of our old lanay’s group like the
school planning team and the organizations led by the faculty teachers association.

What innovations have you introduced that led to school improvement?

The school planning team and the organizations led by the faculty teachers association.

Are there other best practices that you would like to share that have not been covered in
our conversation?

I think ma’am it is commitment and dedication, because with these two qualities we can
really perform our duties and do our best for us to have a successful output.

DOMAIN 2. INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP

What activities are regularly conducted in your school to ensure higher learning
outcomes?

We have the regular conduct of Desk slack to our teaching personnel wherein updates
on the implementation of the DepEd’s plans, programs and projects are discussed during these
slacks sessions also reminders from our division and district supervisors are also tackled in our
slack then we make plans for whatever activities to be done within the succeeding period, also
monitoring and checking of our DLL then we do the regular conduct of classroom observation.

What challenges have you encountered pertaining to classroom observations? How did
you solve them? What technical assistance have you provided to your teachers? Who
else provide technical assistance?
Yes ma’am, some observations are the preparations of DLL and also with the-some
teachers are having problems with the use of ICT or the Information Communication
Technology then as a school head, I talk to them personally, give them technical assistance and
advise them to have a meeting with the expert like the ICT so that the ICT will help them in the
use of the Information Communication Technology regarding the DLL preparation so we talk on
what are the important factors to consider in preparation of their DLL.
How do you address the deficiencies of current school programs in relation to pupil
achievement? Likewise, how do you sustain the successes?

Yes ma’am, some observations are the preparations of DLL and also with the-some
teachers are having problems with the use of ICT or the Information Communication
Technology then as a school head, I talk to them personally, give them technical assistance and
advise them to have a meeting with the expert like the ICT so that the ICT will help them in the
use of the Information Communication Technology regarding the DLL preparation so we talk on

DOMAIN 3. CREATING A STUDENT-CENTERED LEARNING CLIMATE

Could you describe the current climate of your school?

So our student learning community or learning climate is one that is very conducive from
learning it is orderly and a child friendly environment because we know learning takes place
very well if our learning environment is a conducive one.

What steps/activities do you do to ensure a safe, orderly and supportive learning


environment?

Pupils should be safe always then it should be always a child friendly community
wherein all internal stakeholders should welcome them always with a smile.

What characteristics of a child-centered environment make your school a better one and
make it a school of choice by pupils and parents?

It should be free form hazard, pupils should be safe always then it should be always a
child friendly community wherein all internal stakeholders should welcome them always with a
smile.

DOMAIN 4. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

How are the teachers’ Individual Personal and Professional Development (IPPD) plans
used in planning for the activities for human resource development of the teachers?

None.

What activities are included in the School Improvement Plan that support the
professional development of teachers and staff?

A post graduate study, attend in the seminars, trainings, workshop, so that they can
update their-themselves grow professionally so that when there are promotions, an opportunity
for them to promote then I will-I am very sure that I will recommend them for a promotion.

What motivation/encouragement do you provide to your teachers as part of coaching and


mentoring for the improvement of their instructional competencies as well as their
professional growth?

So when it comes to the professional growth I really encourage them and motivate them
to enrol in the post graduate studies and I make myself as an example for them to really
motivate to enrol in a post graduate study, attend in the seminars, trainings, workshop, so that
they can update their-themselves grow professionally so that when there are promotions, an
opportunity for them to promote then I will-I am very sure that I will recommend them for a
promotion.

DOMAIN 5. PARENTS’ INVOLVEMENT AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP

Could you describe the culture of the community as it pertains to parents’ support for
their children?

They are very supportive and if they are very supportive, one hundred percent sure tayo
na our projects will really be a successful one so parent involvement is really of great
importance.

How does the external environment in your school influence leadership practices
pertaining to pupil outcomes?

Parents participation is one of the most important factor for a successful leadership
because with the support of our internal and external stakeholders we can do or we can
perform-we can implement our projects then they are very supportive and if they are very
supportive, one hundred percent sure tayo na our projects will really be a successful one so
parent involvement is really of great importance because they are-they play important role in our
school leaning community, we have to consult them always so that they will support us in all of
our projects and undertakings.
Why do you think it is necessary to gain the support of your PTA and other partners in
terms of school improvement? What strategies do you employ to establish strong
partnership with stakeholders?

Ah yes, support of our parents are very important in our community especially in my
school and speaking of the strategy so we give them plaque of appreciation for every
participation they contribute to our school then we also give incentives to those parents who
really plays an important role and we are very thankful that parents in our school are very
supportive that’s why all of our project are really successful.

DOMAIN 6. SCHOOL MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS

Who are actually involved in the school’s financial management plan? How effective is
your financial management team?

We have our financial management team, of course it is headed by school head then we
have our property custodian, our school finance officer then we have our bids and its committee
or the pact and we have the inspectorate team so that we are very sure that it is-our financial
operations will be very transparent, with participation of those committees we are very sure that
it is transparent so it is clear and-clear enough that all the stakeholders will see the MOOE or
the maintaining operation expenses of the school within a year, posted in the transparency
board.

What activities do you do to implement projects that are not included in the AIP?

That’s the essence of having the participation of the parents, the-being the resourceful
one is the key, if you are very committed and dedicated your work you can win the support of
the parents so all of those projects that are not included in the SOB then the fund for that will
come from the LGU or maybe from the support of the parents organizations and other private or
the private individuals with the kind heart to donate and support our projects.

How is the SOB/MDP used in the operationalization of the school financial management
system?

None.

Domain 7. Personal and Professional Attributes and Interpersonal Effectiveness

Could you describe your working relationship with your teachers, stakeholders, LGU
partners, district supervisor and other higher officials?

Harmonious relationship with the internal and external stakeholders is one of the best
that we can give so when there are problems that we encountered we have to talk heart to heart
to the involved person and we should be very kind and polite and always respect the decisions
of others so that there should be an effective management or an effective leadership.

How do you maintain/sustain strong partnership with all the people in the school
community?

Harmonious relationship with the internal and external stakeholders is one of the best
that we can give so when there are problems that we encountered we have to talk heart to heart
to the involved person and we should be very kind and polite and always respect the decisions
of others so that there should be an effective management or an effective leadership.

What challenges have you encountered pertaining to maintaining integrity, honesty and
fairness in dealing with the stakeholders?

So far ma’am with my experience of almost twelve years in my profession as principal, I


did not yet experience problems or challenges pertaining to human relationship because as you
know I am very malambing, friendly and when there are problems I really talk to them heart to
heart so as of this moment I did not yet experience problems regarding human relations.
