SYAHLUL MAHFUZH
201450026-OIL AND GAS LOGISTIC

INTRODUCTION

I am Syahlul Mahfuzh a student at PEM Akamigas majoring in Oil and Gas

Logistic in 2020. I was born in Aceh on August 1, 2002. I am a campus ambassador
in 2021 and also a volunteer in SPE. My last education was in SMA N 1 Dewantara.
I was the vice president of the student council when I was in second grade, and also
I got several achievements in district level such as English debate and OSK
economics.

SELF MOTIVATION

When I entered PEM Akamigas, the organization I wanted to join was only
SPE, because this organization is a specific organization in the oil and gas industry
segment, SPE is also an international-scale organization which makes SPE the right
place to upgrade myself. My interest in the motto SPE collaborate to innovate
encouraged me to register as an SPE member because I wanted to channel my
abilities and contribute to realizing that motto.We all know that in the world of
lectures, high grades are not enough, I have to be active in campus activities and
work together with all elements of the campus. Because by organizing we can add
insight, exchange information, develop talent in organization, and pour out all ideas
to realize the SPE mission. In SPE I can get to enhance my English proficiency in
a professional way.
And my motivation for choosing the Department of Human Resources,
especially the Professionalism Affairs Division, is that as we all know an
organization is successful when all its work programs run optimally. therefore I
want to be part of this division to support and ensure all work programs run well.
and provide my ideas to create a program that can increase the enthusiasm and
motivation of each member to carry out their work program.
The another department is Department of Event, especially Community
Outreach Division. As a great organization we must also play an active role in
implementing social activities that have a positive impact on the community around
us which proves that we also care about the environment around us. and I want to
contribute and be a part of this division that will give a positive impact on the
community and the surrounding environment through the work program of this
department.
INNOVASIONS OF NEW WORK PROGRAM IDEAS

• Department of Human Resources

1. Quality Upgrade
This work program will be a forum for each member of the SPE to
upgrade themselves, both soft skills and hard skills. This program aims to
prepare SPE members to become qualified cadres. realized by inviting
mentors from internal or external who can provide knowledge to all SPE
members such as about public speaking, leadership, how to organize well,
and others.
2. SPE Health Day
All SPE members must always be healthy in order to carry out all
activities and work programs to the fullest. we can choose a day in a month
or a day a week if possible to make that one day as a day when all SPE
members do sports. The sport that can be done can be in the form of
gymnastics, soccer, cycling (gowes), or others.

• Department of Event
1. SPE Bukber
In order to commemorate the month of Ramadan, SPE can hold an iftar
event with the orphanage children or with the surrounding community.
This aims to establish a relationship with the community and the children
in the orphanage

PROBLEM SOLVING
when I was in high school my teacher asked me to replace my senior who
was sick to take part in an English debate competition. the competition will be held
tomorrow and my teacher just notified me one day before the competition started.
at that time I felt it was impossible to prepare it in just a day. where my position in
the debate team was the most difficult of the two other team members. but I asked
my senior to take my place and he was willing to take the position of being the first
speaker and I was transferred to an easier position, namely the third speaker. in that
day I studied debate and debate motion as hard as possible, I studied from morning
till late at night, I couldn't even sleep that night so I continued to practice until
morning and the competition started. and Alhamdulillah I was able to get through
it even though there were still many shortcomings but my team managed to get
first place at the district level.
