Sibol ng Binhi: Ang Pag-asa ng Bayan

Sibol ng Binhi: Ang Pag-asa ng Bayan was a project conducted by the students
of PSBA for their project. It feels nice to be given this kind of opportunity because
it feels good helping the citizens of the chosen community without giving them
money for their own. Instead, we gave them alternatives that’ll benefit them in
every way by giving them a source of food and a possible income. I’m really
grateful for having to make this project possible as we saw other students face to
face and we got to interact with them and refresh our interacting skills with other
people.

Planning this said project was so time consuming as we have different class
schedules and it became hard for us to schedule a meeting where most of us are
free. At first, we decided to conduct a webinar using our facebook page, but then,
as we went through Barangay 441 to invite and hand out flyers, we saw that most
of the citizens living there are not techy enough to deal with those things.
Because of that, we finally decided to have a face to face seminar wherein they
will fully understand the meeting without having to deal with the technology.

Overall, this project helped us in improving our interpersonal skills, to share our
knowledge, and we also improved in being a team player. I know that most of us
didn’t get help due to other important things, but as long as they stayed and
managed to update us, it is a big help already. I would also like to thank Ma’am
Luz Rodriguez for guiding us and leading us to the barangay and for our team
leader, Miss Cielo Amor Rabang for coping with us and for your never ending
patience throughout the process of this project.
