INDIVIDUAL SELF REFLECTION

My group has held an event which is “Bubur Lambuk Charity Event” this event venue is in
Padang Kawad near Cassuarina and Rafflesia. My group member consisted of six person.
Nurina Adilin as Project Director, Nurul Firzanah as Secretary, Nurmaisarah Anisa as
logistic, Norshitah as event coordinator and Farhanis Syafiqa as Treasurer.

Group were be form once we received instruction. At first, when we gather, we had
discussion in college to decide our event and venue. After several time discussion, we
managed to held event which is ‘Bubur Lambuk Charity Event’ inspired by fasting month.

We divided task to be done among our members. Each of the member will have to do
the task given. We assign every member task by our position.

My group member is really helpful. They are very tolerate and help each other when
need. We managed to have member that can bring equipment and cooking tools to our event
venue. And one of our member that help to blend all the ingredients such onion, garlic and
etc to be used for the event. We were able to voice out our opinion and we also be able to
work together as group. Throughout the project been done, there is slightly problem which is
insufficient ingredients and equipment. Luckily, our member own car and can get it from
outside.

As our project running, we have problem in finding venue since we have to cook. We
have to ask permission from our lecturer, and went to HEP to ask permission for our venue.
We also have to ask ustaz to use Surau Equipment for the program. After the Bubur Lambuk,
has been done we attribute the bubur based on location we decided. We went to Dahlia café,
Padang Kawad to distributed the Bubur. I learn that giving something to people can bring
their mood to joyful especially as student who is really in need.

While doing this project, my strength for this project is that I can get along and give
cooperation to my members and participant. I have no problem to get along with members.
When I do not know something I ask my group members for help. Along the event I also
gained knowledge about how to make “Bubur Lambuk” and at the same time share my recipe
to my class member who participated the event.

Skill that I learn while having these event is. Leadership skill. Pick out one leader
from the group the event will be organized. Leader also helps in giving out instruction while
held the event. I also learn how to communicate with other. With best communicate the group
members know when is it time to packing, distribute bubur lambuk and time when there is
problem among us. I would like to apply this skill in future since this skill teach me a lot
especially when work in team.

Benefit of working in group is lot of idea will be given since there is a group member
with variety of knowledge and experience. Working in group actually help in one project or
event will be held successfully. Working in team also give me new experienced in face
people while giving out the bubur lambuk.
