What is the best way to contact you?


Because teachers do not have office phones, the easiest and quickest way to connect with me is via email:
holcombc1@fultonschools.org. Please be aware that it may take up to 48 work hours for me to reply.

How long should students be spending on practice problems in the course per day?
For students to do well in the class, they are encouraged to spend 30 minutes of practice a day.

When is the Geometry Help Session?


Tuesday Mornings: 7:50-8:15 AM
Tuesday Afternoons: 3:25-3:50 AM

When is the PE Help Session?


Thursday Mornings: 7:50-8:15 AM
Thursday Afternoons: 3:25-3:50 AM

How long do students have to recover a summative assessment?


Students must submit a Recovery Form within a week of receiving their grades.

How many summative assessments will students have this semester?


Students will have a maximum of 12 summative assessments, in accordance with the URL of the school district
guidelines. These summative assessments include quizzes, tests, and projects.

Are students expected to complete daily assignments?
Yes, our practice requires daily practice to master the skill.

Can a student recover a summative if they are missing formative assignments?


No. Geometry guidelines require students to make up all the formative assignments before they can recover a
summative assessment.
What will the Final Exam cover?
The Final Exam will be a cumulative assessment on the units that we cover throughout the semester.

Will there be a study guide for the Final Exam?


Yes, the study guide will be provided to students who do not meet the exemption criteria.

If my student misses a summative assessment, what are the next steps?


If a student knows in advance that they will miss a summative assessment, they must contact their instructor as
soon as possible to schedule a make-up time. If for unforeseen reasons, a student misses their summative
assessment, they need to communicate with their instructor in the soonest possible time to schedule a makeup.
