What is Summer Band?

Summer band was designed to give students beginning level instruction. We will teach EVERYTHING from
how to sit and hold the instrument to actually playing a concert for the parents on Wed, June 26th. What a great
way to protect your investment! We currently have a 90% attendance rate for new 6th graders!
You must register your band student for the proper section. Each section is 50 minutes long and is taught by a
highly qualified music instructor. We also have students from the high school program to lend help. Either
way, your student is getting 8 sessions for the price of 1 private lesson! It’s a great deal! Students that
participate do very well in the band program.
