The video talks about how Snapdeal delivers their product to its customer. The video talks
about the process which is used to deliver the product to the customer. Rohit Bansal the
founder of Snapdeal explain the process by stating that the first the consumer place their order
with the Snapdeal. Sometimes the company also analysis the demand and make sure the
consumer receive their product in least number of days. Later, Rohit Bansal also talks about the
merging that the company has with the merchants. As the product are received from these
merchants and then the after the company receive these product then only they can show it on
their website and app saying the product is available. So, the concept that is used in the video is
the Simple online order fulfillment that Snapdeal does for its customers. This process involves
1. Purchasing the order requirement. Then comes the confirm order process which describes
that the order has been placed. After the order is confirmed the address is written down
regarding where it is going to be delivered. After this process is completed Snapdeal receives
the payment if it is not cash on delivery. After the order is placed and payment is fulfilled the
order is archived and later the order is fulfilled. Moreover, the video also raises a major concern
regarding the fact when sometimes customer receives empty boxes. So, to tackle this concern
Snapdeal has a six sigma team which makes sure each package are checked thoroughly and
they make sure that the customer don’t get empty boxes. Moreover, the management of each
product is extremely effective and efficient as they have barcode system for each package.
However, this barcode are designed in a manner that each and product is exactly placed at its
appropriate position, so that there is no confusion in finding the package in a big warehouse.
So, this is how Snapdeal delivers its product to the consumer.
