EVACUATION EXERCISE
On Tuesday 8 September Napier Port plans to hold a port-wide SIMULATION ONLY
exercise to practice its earthquake preparedness and tsunami response.
WHEN: Tuesday 8 September from 9:30am to 12:00pm.

Due to Ministry of Health guidelines for public gatherings, this Chief Executive
exercise will only go ahead under the following conditions:
Alert Level 1 – Port-wide exercise, involving up to
600 people
Alert Level 2 – Staggered approach in smaller groups,
not exceeding 100 people
