Bettor TITO DELUXE Setup Instructions for IGT S-2000 - Vision - Reel Touch

Please follow the directions below carefully for a trouble free installation of your new Bettor TITO
device. It you have any difficulty at all, please feel free to contact me to set up an
appointment...Jim@BettorSlots.com. Thank you for your order.

STEP 1 - VERIFY OPERATION

Your machine must be fully functional prior to installing the TITO device. By that we mean it must be
able to except currency through its bill validator. It must also be able to print clear, legible, without
streaks or faded tickets from your ticket printer. You must also have proper Key Chips for your machine
and have knowledge on how to use them.

If your machine does not function in this way and you do not know if you have proper clear and key
chips for your machine, or you are not comfortable with the process, STOP right now and e-mail to set
up an appointment to help...that's what we are here for.

STEP 2 - VERIFY READINESS

1) Turn your machine OFF.

2) Remove your WBA bill validator from your machine and verify on the right side towards the front
that all of dip switches are in the OFF position. It also most have updated software and be able
to accept the newer colored $5 bills.

3) Unless you have an extra power outlet (service outlet) in your machine already in the area of the
power distribution box, you must bring service in by way of an extension cord. Please insure
this is routed to a good quality power surge suppressor. As a side note, your machine itself
should be plugged into a good quality surge suppressor as well.

(continued next page)

4) Make sure you have an existing communications cable that runs from your power distribution box to
your back plane. This is a flat cable, rainbow colored, and is about 1 1/4" wide. It is pictured
below.

5) Depending on your platform and software running, you should have either a Key 17, Key 31, or Key
45 chip ready. You should know which one to use and how to use it.

STEP 3 - INSTALL THE TITO UNIT

1) Your machine should still be turned OFF.

2) Plug the serial cable that came with your kit into the power distribution box where shown on the
illustration below. NOTE - If you are using a hopper with your machine, the USB power plug
provided will not allow the hopper to fully seat. You have a couple of options here. One, you
could bring power to the TITO device another way like running and extension cord from your
power strip into the machine. Or two, you can locate and install a flat headed power plug
extension cord such that you can still plug into the power distribution box and use your hopper
at the same time.

3) Plug the other end of the serial cable into your new TITO controller board where shown on the
illustration below.

4) Plug the USB power cord into the TITO controller board where shown on the illustration below.

5) Mount your new TITO board where shown in the illustration below. IMPORTANT that you insure
that no metal components of the board is touching any metal components of the machine.

6) Finally, plug the other end of the USB power cord into the black power plug adapter. Then plug the
black power plug adapter into your power source. The board should turn on and you will see
lights. NOTE depending on the version of board you have you will either see a solid red light and
a flashing amber light on the top board OR you will see a dimly lit red light slightly flashing on
the top board. Note the lights can be partially hidden by the black zip tie strap.

AFTER THE GAME COMES UP WITH NO ERRORS AND THE BV LIGHT COMES ON
READY TO TAKE BILLS, PROCEED TO STEP 5. IF YOU HAVE AN ERROR OPEN AND
CLOSE THE DOOR UP TO 3 TIMES UNTIL ALL ERRORS CLEAR. IF YOU STILL GET AN
ERROR ON THE DISPLAY AT THIS POINT, PLEASE CONTACT US FOR SUPPORT.

STEP 5 - VERIFY OPERATION

1) Open your machine's door again and look at the TITO board again. Depending on the version of your
board, remember the flashing amber light or the dimly lit red light that was pointed out to your
earlier? Confirm that it is now a solid amber next to a solid red light OR two solid red lights and
they are no longer flashing on and off. If so, proceed to Step 2 below. If it is still flashing, stop
now and contact us for assistance.

2) Insert a bill into your machine. Then cash out a ticket. Study the serial number on the ticket. The
numbers listed at the end of the ticket should be the amount that you cashed out. So for
example if you cashed out $20, it should look like "01-0000-0000-0000-2000".

3) Insert the ticket back into your machine. It should accept the ticket and credit you the amount on
your ticket. If so congrats!!! You are good to go!!! If it does not work, please contact us about
cleaning and calibrating your bill validator.

STEP 6 – CONNECT TO NETWORK

1) When your machine prints AND accepts tickets, you are ready connect to a network.
2) Determine how you would like your device(s) to connect to your existing homes Router. The
cheap and easy way is to route an Ethernet cable from the device to an available port on
your Router. However if you have multiple machines and / or running a cable is not
convenient we do have a wireless solution. You would need to one each of the following
two devices (good for up to 7 machines...if you have more let us know for an alternate
solution).

8 Port Switch such as TP-Link TP-SF1008D ( http://tinyurl.com/o5drvxs )

Or

WIFI Range Extender such as NetGear WN3000RP ( http://bit.ly/1nD68gv )

(continued next page)

STEP 7 – SET IP ADDRESS

1) You need to determine the IP address of your existing home’s Router. The easiest way to do this is
to go to your desktop computer, click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner, and then when
the window pops up at the bottom where is says “Search programs and files...”, type in “cmd” then
enter. A DOS window will pop up, then just type in “ipconfig”. It will bring up a bunch of
information, but look for where is says “Default Gateway” and write down that number to the right
of it. For me and my computer the number is “192.168.1.1”, but yours could be something very
different.

2) Now go to your TITO board, unplug the power to it, and look at the side view under the serial port
and find a small micro chip. Just push in on it and it will click loose so you can take the chip to your
home computer. Use the microchip adapter that came with your kit and put it into your computer
and read the files on the chip.

3) First thing to do is make a back-up of the 3 files you will find on the chip called “setup”, “index”,
and “data”. Just create a folder on your desktop called “TITO DLX BACKUP” and copy the folders
over. This is in case the files on the chip get messed up and that way you have an original to go
back to again from.

(continued next page)

4) Now go back to looking at the 3 files on the chip and right-click on the one that’s says “setup”, then
select the “open with” option and select Notepad. The file will open up in notepad and notice it’s a
simple bit of information that just says “192 168 001 200”. This is basically the assigned IP address
of your TITOboard and notice we ended it with “200”, it’s a high number on purpose so it does not
conflict with any other devices on your network. Now....you may or may not have to edit this
number depending on what the “base” IP address of your Router is that you learned in step 1
above. If the first 3 sets of numbers match what is already on your Default Gateway
(192.168.1...=192 168 001 ...) then you are a match to our default and leave the file alone and just
close it. However if your default gateway is different in anyway then you should modify the first 3
sets of numbers on the Setup file so you will be a match. Example: Default Gateway = 123.456.1.1
then the Setup file should be changed to read 123 456 001 200. NOTE that the zeros and spaces
on the Setup file should be maintained. Once edited, save and close the file.

5) Now go ahead and return the micro chip to your TITO board. And also make your network
Ethernet connection to your TITO board. If you are using the wireless extender, you should
follow the directions in detail that came with the product on how to link it to your home’s
existing Router. If you are just running a wire, you just need to route an Ethernet wire from
your TITO board to an available port on your Router

STEP 8 – CUSTOMIZE TITO DELUX

1) Once that is accomplished you should be able to use any device (Iphone, Android, Tablet, PC, etc.)
that has a browser and a connection to your home’s existing Router. Just go to the browser and type in
your assigned IP address for the TITO device...Example = 123.456.1.200 and then the “default” screen
for your machine should come up in your browser. You will see several buttons that you can click or
touch like “add credits” and “change ticket header”. You will also see a Default picture and information
about your machine.

2) At this stage you can customize your machines access screen. Return the microchip to your
computer and again open its folder so you are looking at the 3 files, “setup”, “index”, and “data”. This
time right-click on “data” and “open with” Notepad. A window pops up again with some information on
it. There are 4 items on this page that you can edit. NOTE that it is important that when you edit text
here that you do not delete “spaces” before and after text that is there and that you only edit the
following 3 text items “Type of Slot Machine”, “IP Address: 192...”, and “Name of Game Installed”.
Basically fill in the information about your machine or whatever you like in those 3 sections. Finally, a
4th item you can change is the default “picture” that comes up on your screen. The way to do this is to
take a picture of your machine or find a graphic that you like. Upload this file to a service like
Photobucket.com where you can obtain a HTTP address for your uploaded picture file. From there take
the HTTP address and copy and paste over in the Data file where it has our default picture listed
between the punctuation marks “http....”. Note to keep the “-“. Save and close file and you are done
here.

(continued next page)

3) From here you can go to the Index file, again right-click and open in Notepad. There is not much to
edit on this page but you can change the two “add credit buttons” amounts. Just look for where it says
“value=”2000” and “value=”0080”. You currently have add credit buttons of 2000 and 80 on
your TITO screen but they can be changed to 1 to 9999 by editing those numbers. Note you have to
keep the zeros, so you can edit numbers to be anything between “0001” and “9999”. It cannot be any
number lower or higher than those, but anything in between. Also note that this number is linked to the
“Accounting” denomination that you have your machine is setup for....not Player or Coin denomination.
Most will have accounting set for a penny or “.01”. So that means “0080” equals 80 cents and “2000”
equals $20 for that setup.
