Acosta, advising that the Office of the Secretary and the Bureau of Local Government Supervision (BLGS) will strietly enforce the sanctions provided in DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2006 — 163 dated’ November 30, 2006, for non-compliance with the required ten (10) day filing period on the request for Department Authority to travel abroad of local government officials and employees. Said request must be: © submitted with all the required supporting documents, in original copies, © thoroughly evaluated and favorably endorsed by the concerned DILG field office, and * filed with the Bureau of Local Government Supervision ten (10) days prior to the actual departure date. ‘The Office of the Secretary and this Bureau will strictly enforce the sanctions provided in the above-mentioned memorandum for non-compliance of the required ten (10) day filing period.
