Evidence: Timelines

For this evidence, we suggest you to visit:


http://ourtimelines.com/create_tl_2c.html and follow the instructions to create
your personal time line. Once the page provides you with your timeline, you
need to identify at least 10 historical events that draw your attention and create
sentences using the past perfect and the time expressions you learned in this
learning activity. Below you will see a screenshot of what the timeline looks like.
Below are some model sentences that exemplify the product your instructor
expects from you.

Note: If there is any issue with the webpage given, do your own research on the
web about the historic milestones. Then, complete the evidence as required.

Model sentences:

 When Richard Nixon was the president of the United States, I hadn’t been
born.

 I had already been born when Gerald Ford became the president of the
United States.

 The first genetically engineered product had been produced by the time I
was 9.

 By the time I was 5, Margaret Thatcher hadn’t become the Prime Minister in
the UK yet.
Note: once you finish writing the sentences, create an autobiographical
composition where you use them all.
Example:
I was born on October 4th, 1974. When Richard Nixon was the president of the
United States, I hadn’t been born. He was the president of the United States
before I had been born.
When you finish your work, send the file to your instructor through the platform

ALBERT EINTEIN (1879 – 1955)

1. When Albert E. Published his autobiographical notes , I had not been born
2. I had not been born when Albert E. Talked about his general theory of relativity.
3. Albert E died by the time my grandmother was 39
4. By the time my grandmother was 1, Albert Einstein had completed his General
Theory of Relativity.
5. When Albert E. became the director of the prestigious Kaiser Wilhelm Institute , my
grandmother had not been born

I was born on August 24th, 1992. When Albert published his autobiographical notes I had
not been born. He published it before I had been born.
When A. Einstein talked about his general theory of relativity I had not been born. I was
born after he had talked about it. My grandmother was born on 1916. When A. Einstein
died, she had been 39. She was 39 when he had died. By the time my grandmother was
1, A. Einstein Had completed his general theory of relativity. He completed it when my
grandmother had born.
