2. Objectives.
General objective:
The objectives that we intend to complete at the end of this activity are; analyze well the causes,
consequences and the most important the relation cost/benefit of the creation of a company in a
certain place.

The geographical location of a company is an strategic decision. This decision will depend
on certain factors that may favor or impair the present and future economic activity of the
company.
To choose the most suitable location of a company, the following tips must be taken into
account:
- The proximity between market and customers.
- The density of the population
- The possibilities of access to raw materials and buyers
- Facility to dispose of raw materials or other resources (skilled labor, university,
research centers, etc.).
- The evaluation of the proximity of the suppliers, which facilitates and reduces the
costs of supplying the business.
- Quality of life.
You should never opt for a location without a detailed and thorough study of the
characteristics of the residents.
Our clients are located in the departments of Boyaca, Cauca and Cundinamarca
The Fleet Management System is a method of locating a terrestrial, aerial or maritime
vehicle on a digitized map that is located on the surface of the terrestrial globe, whether on
water, land or air.
The GIS system helps us with the geographic information system, ordered from less to
greater complexity, are:
- Location, ask about the characteristics of a place

characteristic.
- Routes: calculation of optimal routes between two or more points.
- Guidelines: detection of spatial patterns.
- Models: generation of models from phenomena or simulated performances.

the target in it.

deficiencies, in order to establish new sales outlets or marketing actions
Enrichment of data. From where a client lives, we can infer sociodemographic
characteristics such as household, housing, habitat rent, population density, commercial
offer, urban vs. scattered. It is very useful, for example, for the advanced analysis of online
customer, because knowing the level of income, or type of neighborhood where we get
more customers online is fantastic to make online campaigns, decide collection points,
delivery costs, etc.

4. Conclusions
In the world of business there are many aspects that we must take into account; but as we
demonstrate in this activity we must always study the locations of our suppliers, our customers, the
access routes, cost benefit, population and commercial area to achieve our goals.
