Year Three and Four Walk to the River Kennet

Dear Parent/Carer

Year Three and Four’s topic this half term is ‘Source to Sea’. We are planning a walk to explore a local
river environment in order to put their learning into context. We will leave school in the morning after
registration and will be back at school by 12:15pm at the latest. Please make sure your child has a
coat, comfortable shoes or trainers, a water bottle and a healthy snack.

- Year 4 will be going on Monday 14th September

- Year 3 will be going on Wednesday 16th September

If you are available to come and help, please let us know on the permission slip. Parent helpers will
be notified in advance of the trip if they are required.
